Christopher Marullo, MA, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have experience working with clients from a multitude of backgrounds and ages. I also have experience working in outpatient mental health, including the assessment and treatment of a variety of concerns. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among others, to help individuals meet their goals and navigate through difficult challenges. I look forward to helping people connect with their values, discover their strengths, and build healthy coping skills so they can work through the difficult times and enjoy and appreciate the good times. I enjoy the therapeutic process and consider it a privilege to help others. I strive to create an understanding and empathic therapeutic environment.

Leigh Muths, MA, LPC - Supervisor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults at the UHCL Psychological Services Clinic, Shriners Hospitals for Children- Galveston, Passages for Women, and in private practice. Additionally, I’ve worked on psychology research studies at Texas Children’s Hospital with pediatric brain tumor patients. My counseling perspective is based in the theories of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Other areas of expertise include: Anxiety, Body Image, Chronic Illness, Depression, Grief and Loss, Parenting, and Post-Traumatic Stress.  My goal is to help clients live healthy and fulfilling lives. I work with clients to build and practice skills that can help them live their best life in the midst of obstacles.

Melinda Lea, Ph.D.

I am a licensed Psychologist in private practice in Houston, Texas. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University in May 1993. I have been practicing in the greater Houston area since October of 1990. My experience includes treating depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, alcohol and drug abuse, grief reaction, stress-related disorders, personality disorders, and relationship issues. I have also taught classes at Houston Community College. I am experienced with individual, family, and couples therapy. I work with adolescents, and adults including geriatric clients. I have also given seminars and lectures to the professional community on interpersonal and familial relationships, stress management, communication skills, and alcohol and drug related topics.

Kim Tran, MA, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston- Clear Lake. My therapeutic approaches are eclectic and client-centered, which include empirically supported Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have experience working with adolescents and adults with a history of abuse/trauma and substance abuse in a non-profit setting. Additionally, I have served as an interventionist in psychology research studies for individuals who've experienced traumatic brain injury, advanced stage cancer, and cancer caregiving. My clinical interests include trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal difficulties. I strive to help clients navigate the psychological barriers in their lives. And, in doing so, I hope to help clients go towards a life that has meaning and purpose for them.
